Review: Everdeen – Heart Shaped Gutter

Formed by San Franciscan Ian Stahl and Turkish/German singer Sümeyra in California, both eventually relocated to Stuttgart where they met local drummer Thommy Mross and bassist Danny Pflumm. A truly intercontinental quartet was born with a sound on par with international standards set by the UK or Scandinavia.

With Everdeen’s latest, titled ‘Heart Shaped Gutter’, the new single showcases their impressive writing abilities and creative style. The song is vocal-driven but we do enjoy the simplicity behind the instrumentation and the drums. We really do believe the energy Everdeen is bringing to the table will take them far in their career and we’re excited to support them every step of the way.

In the meantime, we’ll just have to keep ‘Heart Shaped Gutter’ on constant rotation. Check it out for yourself and don’t forget to connect with Everdeen online to stay up to date on any upcoming releases and enjoy!
