Mike Slott & Diane Badie have teamed up to become an experiential pop/indie-electro duo that goes by Lesser Pieces. Diane’s sultry but sweet voice complements the heavy bassline & deep piano synth of this song, which particularly tells a tale of trying to get over a fresh, one-sided break-up.
The atmosphere of the duo’s projects is usually quite spacey & atmospheric – my drug – which draws me into their work the most. The music these two produce isn’t always too melancholy, but it’s definitely night-time driving music, & it’s perfect for if you’re feeling very chill & laid back.
