Australia’s Harrison Storm shares his latest EP Change It All (out now via Nettwerk Records) featuring his latest single “Dreams.”
Storm personifies that eloquent edict of carpe diem. Under the cover of sand and waves, the fabled Australian beach life defined Harrison’s formative years. Harrison has spent his life traveling to numerous parts of Australia in a wagon with his friends, spending time camping and surfing. His life epitomizes outdoor living and it comes through in his music.
In the past, Harrison has perform to packed crowds across Melbourne, developing a powerful presence on stage alongside the likes of Michael Franti, The Cat Empire, Husky, and more. Simultaneously, he impacted Triple J and received airtime on U.S. tastemaker KCRW. Next month, Harrison will make his US debut with three stateside performances – Hotel Café (Los Angeles) on October 9, Rockwood Music Hall (New York) on October 26 and The Basement (Nashville) on October 20 (supporting Dead Horses).
This song is really amazing, Storm amazed us with this wonderful performance, from the first moments of the song you feel the voice in your soul, this will make you repeat the song again and again.. The melody is strong and tuneful. The singer has an attractive vocal tone, and puts real feeling into the lyrics. The lyrics are interesting and meaningful with some punchy phrases. Instrumentally, the song has a rich, full accompaniment that complements the vocal track perfectly. Great guitar solo too, although I think a grittier tone would suit the dark mood of the song better. This voice is peace of magic.
