The opening track to the band’s second release, On The Brink Of Life, begins with an otherworldly atmosphere and continues with acoustic guitar and heavenly vocal harmony. Soft drums barely keep it tethered to Earthly reality while the theremin holds on to the dream state. BTSUTC is an eclectic genre melding duo from Charlotte, North Carolina. Their Sophomore release, On The Brink Of Life, finds them displaying their electro folk/indie pop roots while adding a touch of old school and alternative Hip Hop. This song is really amazing, Bless These Sounds Under The City amazed us with this wonderful performance, from the first moments of the song you feel the voice in your soul, this will make you repeat the song again and again.. The melody is strong and tuneful. The singer has an attractive vocal tone, and puts real feeling into the lyrics. The lyrics are interesting and meaningful with some punchy phrases. Instrumentally, the song has a rich, full accompaniment that complements the vocal track perfectly. Great guitar solo too, although I think a grittier tone would suit the dark mood of the song better. This voice is peace of magic.
