Wild Story is a duo originating from Los Angeles, California. This anthemic band combines Viv Parker’s cinematic, immersive production with the adventurous, dynamic and vulnerable melodies of Katie Hargrove. From their first writing session together, Katie and Viv knew they had something special. Building on their solo careers, the pair decided to plunge headfirst into the LA music scene together with Lyric House’s support along the way.
Wild Story shared a new song a few days ago and it’s absolutely incredible, titled ‘Different’. We’re a bunch of suckers when it comes to a strong hook and that’s exactly where the duo delivers. The track has a really spacey and colorful soundscape that you won’t be able to turn off. The drums are crisp and sharp and the little details throughout the production really make the track pop out to us.
And last but definitely not least, what Wild Story did with the visuals is both creative and inspiring. We love the direction she took the color, look, and design-wise and we absolutely love the cinematography. I think you can safely consider us a fan after seeing all of this and we honestly can’t wait to see where she goes from here.
