Shortly thereafter, they brought on bassist Oliver Finch and drummer Matt Gay and quickly became a local live-show favorite, playing nonstop shows and collaborating with several Nashville alt. rock bands prior to the pandemic. Following a year-long retreat, Say Kids makes their return with their May 28th single, ‘Honeydew’.
We love this new track from Say Kids, titled ‘Honeydew’. The Progressive Rock record features an exciting bass section topped with catchy vocals top lines. The upbeat energy is an ideal pick-me-up throughout the day and who doesn’t love a song that makes you wanna get up and dance? However, now that we’ve heard this.. we hope we won’t have to wait that long to hear more from these talented artists.
