Spaceships talks about a playful conversation taking place at house party in which the guy Maike meets is a complete nerd obsessed with the universe, ufo’s and spaceships. At first this couldn’t be more unattractive for a first conversation and none of the flirting works, but after a while it seems to grow on her and she becomes intrigued. Groovy and hooky melodies define the song and a sassy attitude adds the cherry to a strongly written pop banger for young pop audiences.
