Review: Kurtis Hoppie – Problem Child

Hoppie weaves a story of loss and redemption across “Problem Child” while offering his strongest display of genre fluidity yet. Taking a more hard-edged rock and pop spin on his sound, the shift came as a result of a coming to faith, his new perspective leading to a shift in musical direction knowing that the words he was sharing were no longer just his own.

Kurtis Hoppie’s latest is a real treat, we love his vocal delivery and the energy she brings throughout his latest ‘Problem Child’, released just last week and if you haven’t checked it out yet, you definitely need to. The energy is exciting and we love the vocal effects throughout the track. This is quite possibly some of Kurtis Hoppie‘s best work to date and he brought a fresh style and perspective to the record that we can’t get enough of.
