Review: Drew Sycamore – Jungle

Drew Sycamore was raised in the Danish countryside near the small city of Hobro. Her mother and grandmother had both lived in Wales and London, and their stories made the UK feel like a home away from home – and her grandmother’s tale of going on a date with Mick Jagger is one that never gets old.

Drew Sycamore released this catchy little gem not too long ago and today we’re excited to share with you the music video. Titled ‘Jungle’, the electro-pop jam is fun, it’s catchy, and overall it’s a pretty creative DIY project. ‘Jungle’ is a feel-good type of sound that’ll surely have you tapping your foot and singing along in no time.

“I wrote ‘Jungle’ last summer, where I found myself in a particularly melancholy mood,” says Drew“I was in love and not in love at the same time, and everything felt so overwhelming. Life has a funny way of sorting itself out and the emotion that came out in ‘Jungle’ was this feeling of falling backwards off a cliff into the deep sea. I had to just float and surrender to things unfolding by themselves.”

Regardless of your music taste, we’re confident you’ll enjoy this new record just as much as we do. Check out ‘Jungle’ for yourself and let us know what you think, and don’t forget to support the artist by giving Drew Sycamore a follow on social media.
