Owen Gallagher – Come Out feat. Tom Crouch

Emerging London-based alternative rock artist Owen Gallagher, originally from Dublin, teams up with singer Tom Crouch [Gabrielle Aplin, Zane Carney (John Mayer), Gungor, Liminal] for his debut solo single release ‘Come Out’. The track is now available for pre-order on iTunes and will be released on all digital stores and streaming services on May 4. Live dates in London, Dublin and the US are planned for the summer.

The song is inspired by a former guitar student of Owen’s who was dealing with issues of transgenderism and sexuality, while lyrically the subject matter has a broader context. The track was recorded in Tom’s bedroom in Wimbledon and later Los Angeles as the two musicians overcame the challenge of Tom’s relocation to L.A. using email and Whatsapp to communicate and hone the track.

The singer has a distinctive and attractive vocal tone, and it has a strong vocal projection. The lyrics are interesting and meaningful with some punchy phrases. Instrumentally, the song has a rich, full accompaniment that complements the vocal track perfectly.
