“Alive” is a groovy little bop about meeting somebody and coming alive. The lyrics for this song came from a place of me feeling super confident, happy, and SEXY. When I was writing “Alive,” I felt like I was emerging from my cocoon into an artist who is self-assured and empowered – I hope that comes through.
