Review: Yael Danon – Teddy Bears

The promising artist Yael Danon has been on an amazing run lately with her latest release, titled “Teddy Bears”. Not only because of its nearly-perfect production… but the songwriting and the lyricism always spark creativity in a positive way. ‘Teddy Bears’ is a product of just that. Rich, catchy, and easy to listen to. What’s not to love?

“I was in a jam session, thinking about scenarios that I constantly see in my day to day life and I kept thinking about this one situation that keeps happening to my friends (hate to admit it but happens to me too) over and over again. ‘Teddy Bears’ is basically that good and SMART friend who’s warning you about this new guy you’re just starting to get to know (which she dated not – so – long ago), and which you’re already crushing on. The song highlights all the cute stupid sh*t you’re falling for, instead of looking at the big picture… he’s just another mistake. Just like your friend got hurt from him in the past, you will too. I probably need to listen to my own advice…lol.”

Whether you’re a fan of electronic or pop, Yael has a sound that’ll hook you from the start, guaranteed. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think, and don’t forget to support the artist by giving the promising artist a follow on social media.
