Tishmal is the debut solo project of Rachel Brockbank. Tishmal means “hummingbird” in Luiseño, the language of her Native American heritage. The name was given to her as a young girl, around the same time she began to write music. Tishmal’s star is rapidly rising, opening dates for CHVRCHES, Zara Larsson, The Aces, Hippie Sabotage, and XYLØ.

Following the success of her single, ‘New James Dean‘, Tishmal returns with a shimmering, upbeat new single titled, ‘Bodies’. Featuring fluid synths, pristine melodic progressions, and sultry-like vocals, ‘Bodies’ is a powerhouse from the inside out and can easily be marked as one of our favorite songs this week. ‘Bodies’ is an indie-pop hit perfect for the soundtrack to your summer.

Check it out for yourself and don’t forget to connect with the promising artist online to stay up to date on any upcoming releases and enjoy!
