After the release of their debut EP Follow in March, KOKO are off to become the next indie darlings. Likened to Bands like the The Prodigy or Jamie T, the Bristol trio puts out eerie pop bangers and soft sad songs. EP Number two coming in autumn, meanwhile the boys hit us with two stand alone songs to get over the summer.
Released a couple of weeks back, this new single from KOKO is a real gem, titled “22s”. The production and the incredible vocals work will take you on a ride from start to finish. The cinematic production and catchy top lines are some of our favorite arrangements to date. It’s surprisingly packed with little bits of stabs and provides a pretty diverse selection of sounds so you’ll constantly find something new about the track with every listen.
