Alma Grace is a 20 year-old activist, artist, and actress born and raised in New York City. Her mixed musical influences are reflective of a globalized upbringing— she learned how to love from Selena, make witty comebacks from Shania Twain, and turn pain into art from Miss Lauryn Hill.
Alma Grace is the latest and greatest to land on Keep Walking radar and for good reason. New York based artist is delivering an original and bold sound that we can’t get enough of. In a world full of artists trying to sound the same, ‘You Are Here’ is a trailblazer. But don’t take our word for it, take a listen for yourself and be sure to connect with Alma Grace online.
“I was working in the U.S. Senate at the age of 17, got into a top college, and realized that I was always anxious and rarely happy. I decided to take time off from school to focus on my music, and wrote ‘You Are Here’ a couple of months in. It’s about letting your hair down, giving yourself time to breathe, and living in the moment.”
